10 Tips For Staying Leak-Free!

1. Fill Your Tank Up Properly

As we all know , the tank will leak, if it is full with the juice.
The juice will outflow from the top-fill hole. Pay attention to how much juice you put into your tank and find the optimal fill level for your device. Too much juice in the vaporizer tank will cause leaking, on the opposite, the coils will dry up and burn out with too less juice.
Following some simple ways will vastly help stop the leaking issue.
Please avoid getting any e-liquid in the central tube when you fill up the juice.
This enable the liquid creep down inside the glass or plastic of your tank – and keeps as far away from the centre tube as possible.
As it fills up, slowly erect the tank to avoid spills.
If you do manage to get liquid down the central tube, make sure that you clear the excess before use by holding some tissue at the end, and blowing the excess out of the bottom or by flicking the clearomizer into a tissue.
Please don’t overfill the tank, leave a small amount of air actually creates a vacuum inside the tank which helps hold the e-liquid in the chamber
.

2. Check Your O-Rings
Worn or damaged O-rings are the common reason lead to leaking.
If you notice that an O-ring is misplaced, crimped, damaged, or absent altogether, this means your tank’s air seal has been compromised.
To check your O-rings, first take your clearomizer or tank apart and look for the rubber rings on the atomizer head and at the base of your tank.
You will be able to see if any are degraded or out of position. If they are, please remove and replace them with the new ones. Thankfully O-rings are cheap and easy to buy — just make sure you get the correct size.

3. Check Your Seals
Obviously, gaps can cause leaking issue when device’s parts has not been screwed in and secured tightly enough.
Following some simple ways will vastly help stop the leaking issue .
First, check to see that all of the seals are present, not cracked, and all are in the proper location.  Second, follow the same procedure to inspect the tank’s seals. It is also a good idea to replace the seals altogether. Also, check to ensure that the base of your tank is screwed in tight enough into the vape mod’s connector so that liquid does not leak between the base and the pyrex glass tube.

4. Keep Your Tank Vertical
The airflow control valves equipped with tanks can always lead to leaking issue if they are positioned horizontally on its side for long hours.
It’s easy to resolve it. Following some simple ways will vastly help stop juice from escaping the tank over long periods.
Please try to keep your vape kit in a vertical position as much as possible either you are vaping or not.

5. Close Airflow When Filling
Set the control valve of the airflow to the lowest.
Some vapers, prefer to set the control valve of the airflow to its absolute lowest setting for mouth-to-lung hitters. It will restrict the air goes into the device.  If your are the same , you need to draw or inhale harder in order to get a puff from your vape device, meaning you need to take more powerful inhalations. If you do this too forcefully, please be mindful, you run the risk of bringing too much e-liquid into the atomizer coil and causing flooding the leaking . If you notice this happening regularly , please try loosening your airflow to a wider setting to allow more air through the atomizer to avoid leaking.

6.Coil Problem
Due to some defects in production process that the coil may have stopped holding the juice properly, and it will causing the leaking issue.
Try to replace the atomizer coil with a new one discreetly. This is the simplest way to prevent a leaking tank.

7. Clean Your Tank
Unclean the tank for a long time.
To prolong the longevity and performance of your device. It’s vital to conduct a scheduled maintenance on it. When you use your tank, the vapor will automatically produce some condensation. This buildup is often gathered in the airflow control valve, within the drip tip, and at the outer base of the tank. If you haven’t cleaned your tank in a while, the build up of residue from old e-juice could cause complications with the various parts of the tank, leading to leakage. It is important to regularly clean your device and tank to keep them perform as well as they did the day that you purchased them.
The most easy solution is to take it apart, wash it in cold water, thoroughly rinsed the various components, shake it rigorously and dry with a tissue.
Then leave it overnight to dry out before putting it back together. You may have to do that more often if you change flavors frequently in your tank.

 8. Check For Cracks
The juice will leak out and into the airhole valve due to a thin crack on the glass. Please examine your tank closely. Sometimes, the crack can be so fine that you’ll barely even notice it until it leaks every time you refill e-liquid. If there is a thin crack on the glass, it means the tank is no longer airtight. But there’s no need to worry, most brands offer replacement glass, buy a replacement tube is the simple and inexpensive solution, and it will get you back to leak-free vaping in no time!

9.Use Appropriate Juice Viscosity
Coil atomizer head require a lot of power, it will get more chance of leaking if the Percentage of VG lower than 70%.
So more percentage of PG will often at least slow down the leaking.
In order to prevent your coil head from flooding and leaking , you can add in extra wicking material or boost your power setting. But switching to VG-based juices has pretty much the same effect, because the liquid can’t be drawn into the coil head as quickly.

10.Keep A Lid On It
Due to the pressurized nature of tanks, if you leave a tank without the top cap, the juice will leak out of the airflow holes.
Please make sure that the tank is empty, if you leave your top cap off for extended periods of time, anything longer than it takes to fill it. Closing the airflow off will work too, but it’s not as foolproof as keeping the tank empty if the top cap is off.
